Thinking of a herf at McCabes in Southlands on Friday after work. I have a few folks at work that have been wanting to get out and smoke my cigars :) don't mess with the pusher man:nod:. If there is enough interest I will call them to ensure they are ready for our group.

Probably about 5:15 PM or so. The wife may meet us there and if so wants to be fed so it could go a while :dance3:

Probably not, usually play poker at the smoking cave on Fridays. But I hope you all have a GREAT time.

I'll call McCabes today and make sure they don't have a problem with ten cigars all burning at the same time and post tonight. I don't think they will but it would be betting to know up front.

Okay I called these folks today. I asked that if ten cigar smokers showed up would we be okay? The manager said we needed to move away from the doors into the restaurant and if folks start to complain we may be asked to put them out. My advise would be not to go out of your way for this. I will be stopping by with a good cigar and one I won't mind putting out.

Thanks for the update Jamie. I was looking forward to seeing everyone tonight but, as seems to be hapenning too much lately, I'm battling a headache that would make a cigar unenjoyable so I'll be passing tonight. I really hope to see everyone soon now that summer's end is approaching. Have fun guys.

Thanks for posting this Jamie... I was tossing up whether to drive down there as it's been a long day already. I'm not likely to react well to smoke-nazis today. Hope to catch up with you sometime soon!

Good thing folks stayed away from this one. I smoked a cigar early but the place filled up very fast and I am sure folks would have complained if there were a bunch of us. Normally I wouldn't care but I like this place and don't want to blow it for all smokers. So from now on I will be stopping in on slower days.

Jamie,

The owner of Wine Experience Café & World Cellar at Southglenn is one of my cigar clients and a friend, he would love to have us. He has an outdoor Patio where we can smoke cigars and order drinks or food. If you like give me a date and I can line it up with him. His business is hurting and he can use our help. He also sells cigars ( small counter humidor).

Thank you,
Sean

I have been in the Store/Restaurant in the past and it is a very nice place. I didn't know that they allowed smoking, I hope things get better for them. I would be happy to plan a herf at the place and I bet the great folks here will show in force to support a place that will allow us to smoke on the patio. Sean if you will give your friend a call I will stop by and visit him this weekend.

Jamie,

The owner's name is Eldon and his son Danny. I will call them tomorrow and let them know that you will stop by!

I am thinking about doing a cigar dinner with him down the road!

Well guys according to a kid at the register neither Eldon or Danny had enough time to see me today. They had an event going on and were quite busy. I'm glad that they are doing so well.

If this starts early enough, I can make sure I'm driving home that way. I'll know my hours better after tomorrow, but I'm guessing now it'll be 5 when I get off, so 5:30 or 6ish might be good. I'll give an update in a day or 2.
