So, my reviews are kinda situational, so you get lot's more from me than just the cigar...hope you like it, if you don't...go away. :D
Set the scene: Rhapsody kickin’ out ‘Born under a Bad Sign’ by Cream, a full glass of Sam L Smith English Pub Ale, and the Drac.
Light kicks a little spice, draw is really nice.
‘If it wasn’t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have no luck at all’…
The burn seems to think we’re at a soccer game, doing the wave. ‘Gonna Make it Somehow’ by Albert King…right now cigar is not as smooth as the tunes, but it’s trying. :)
The spice has really dropped off…it’s getting a much smoother, like woody but without the edges, without the bark…really starting to match the tunes…Muddy Waters, ‘Love Weapon’…the burn is evening out on its own, I haven’t touched it
Coming to the end of the first third, and it’s been fun! I think the Sam Smith is helping add to the creamy flavors, but the strength feels just right, and the body is good but not too much. I think if paired with a single malt you would get more wood/peat flavor in the smoke.
‘Don’t mess with Mother Nature, you’ll be sorry if you do….I’ll rain all over your parade…and I’ll storm all over you!’ Koko Taylor
Snorking this is smooth, no burn in the nostrils…still getting some smooth, earthy, woody, very nature based flavors from this. I like!
‘Eagle flies on Friday, Saturday I go out to play…Sunday I go to church, where I kneel down to pray’ Stormy Monday, Eric Clapton
Getting a little bitter into the final third, did a little purge, and back to my woody creaminess…ahhhhh
Well it finished pretty well, the aftertaste is nice, lingering in a nice way :) Overall a nice, relaxing evening, and I needed it, it was a long week.
‘Do anything you want to do…’ Carey Bell, Low Down Dirty Shame
