Can't sleep so I decided to crack a tin that has been sitting on the shelf calling my name.

Dark ribbons of irregular size with lighter ribbons mixed in (orientals?). Very earthy, leathery feel to the ribbons. This is an impressive tobacco from the get go.

Loads easily into a cob and lights just as easily.

Upon lighting, the tobacco does not disappoint. A creamy smoke that has a very leathery, earthy taste. Just like the tobacco itself. The latakia plays a dominant role here, providing a smoky taste. The orientals and the virginias add body.

Burns down to a fine gray ash.

As my first taste of GLP, it just makes me want to try more from this excellent blender. Luckily, I just had an order come in with various different GLP blends that I've been interested in.

Nice review Daniel... Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! This blend wasn't on my radar before now, but I will keep an eye out for it.

Still finding that this tobacco gets better and better the more I smoke it. It just keeps evolving.. or perhaps I'm adjusting to it, either way it tastes good.
