I'm really looking forward to getting on that plane! Haven't been home since '06 & this trip is going to be a blast. Dawn and I both need a holiday more than we realize... After hitting the beach & relaxing a little, we are renewing our vows for family and friends who weren't able to make it out here last summer. We booked a rotunda in a nice part of the botanic gardens for the ceremony, followed by an informal celebration in the surrounding parklands... Not much else has been formally planned & I'm looking forward to kicking back with a drink and a cigar every opportunity I get.

I'll make sure to stop in, but won't be here much until the last week in March...

Holy crap, cigars are expensive here! I saw COROs and RyJ Churchill 3 packs in Melbourne duty free & I think they were both over $100... I'm glad I brought a healthy supply :D

I tried to find some Havana Club yesterday, but only came up with the Añejo Blanco... I'm checking a few stores today for the Añejo 7 Años.

I bought tickets to Womadelaide (a world music festival) for Dawn's birthday and Eliades Ochoa (Buena Vista Social Club) is playing that evening! We are looking forward to hearing some good Cuban music... Ravi Shankar is also on the line up.

I'd like to put it on record that I am not missing the snow one bit ;)
