Anyone use a V Cutter and why? I picked one up a while back and it works well, different though.

I love my xikar... but I am using this crappy Palio right now to "test" it out... I have to say not impressed so far. It gives a nice second cut if the smoke gets too much tar buildup and needs a haricut but other than that... crappy!

Wow. That's about the only bad review of one of those I've heard.

Phreak! :o

Honestly, I am also surprised but you should use what works best for you. I have a few v-cutters but rarely use them. Maybe I'll remember to bring one to the herf to let others try.

Those cutters look nice! I'll try to remember my black el cheapo sometime as well. Maybe even bring my puch too if I can find it.

I've used a V-cut before, didn't really care for it, just didn't seem right...I am not very fond of punches either...just stuck in my ways, I guess!

I don't use punches at all... never really got into it!

I'll look at bringing both just in case someone wants to be daring.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a CC tri-cutter. Anybody ever try one? If so, would you recommend them?

There are some reviews of it on CS, people seemed to think it was novel but so-so. CS'ers seem to be balls deep in Palio love though. Give it a shot maybe?

Balls deep is a good term... I personally haven't cared too much for my damn palio... I will be going back to the xikar at the herf and then making a final decision about which I prefer...

Are you going to the BBQ? If so, why don't you bring it along? That would be very cool indeed! 8)
