View Full Version : I was deprived yesterday!

I'm starting this thread so that we can whine about why we didn't get to smoke a cigar yesterday. These sob stories should elicit pity or ridicule posts from anyone who gives a rip...or anyone who doesn't. Let's face it, we just need to give the PWs another venue.

I'll start, of course...

Last night I had to take four teenagers to wallyworld to get their school supplies. By the time we got home, I didn't have the time or energy to spend 1-1/2 hours with one of my lovelies.

That's right, I have four teens in the house. That alone should qualify me for psychological evaluation, or at least the pity of all. :(

PWs will find their way to PW no matter the circumstances.. telling them straight up they can have free reign here; well im giving the thread about 4 posts before the PWs PW about their PWness

I was also deprived yesterday, mine was due to school though and not having the time once I got home from classes

I have to agree that you might be a tad crazy... I couldn't handle one teen let alone 4...

My excuse was I had too many errands to run yesterday and too much to get done. I have the same excuse tonight... I have to get ready for my oral exam for a job I am applying for in Denver... if I do well on the oral exam, then I get to be one of three to come back for an interview. So I hope I do well, if not I might need a couple of cigars lol... 8)

You're breaking my heart. But look at the bright side, when you get into full study mode, you'll be able to smoke late into the night.

This is indicative of an inability to organize, and a weakness in time management skills. I hope these are not required strengths as you give oral attention :o to your quest for employment this evening.

You're going about this all wrong. If you're in the basement, why don't you just put an adequate exhaust fan in a window and duct it to wherever your desk is? This should do it...

http://www.electric-fan.com/fans/9122/

Obviously, you're not studying to become an engineer. :|

unfortunately the windows are too far way from bar in basement for that to work.. (office is the 2nd bedroom upstairs where my desk is - no smoking there or inside anywhere at this time for that matter)

it would end up looking like a ups packing store down there or something with duct over 15 feet long..

side note, funny - i was going to school for mechanical engineering.. after passing calculus 3 (ohyea three space!!!) i decided crunching numbers in an office far away from human interaction just wasnt going to do it for me..

political science is a much better fit seeing as arguing is a strong point of mine.. hehehe

If you were an engineering major you would figure out a way to design a desk into the bar, duct an exhaust hose to a window fan, and sell it as a feature, not an eyesore. Sigh. :| Just think, everything you needed would then be within arm's reach. After all, alcohol is required for study in political science or work in politics.

A further selling point would be the conversion of your present office into a ________room for the wife.

I was deprived yesterday because I had a music rehearsal, then the fetching Mrs. Brew required my attention, and even before that her female offspring unit required some time as well. All said, there was no time to spend with one of my lovelys. This makes two days in a row. There will have to be some sort of priority adjustment this evening.

I have just returned from School Open House meet your teacher night followed by a brief stop at the gf's for some quick dinner. Couple that with a 630 show for work tomorrow, no time tonight.

I was deprived because the weather blew, exhausted and the home schedule wouldn't let me travel south. http://www.buttercreamdreams.com/smilies/pissed2.gif
