Hi guys,

This is an email exchange I want you to read so that those who are interested can join me in planning this. Reads from the bottom up.

Naaman,

The more the merrier! We would be honored to meet all of you and share a drink and a cigar! As your deployment approaches lets begin planning this. In the meantime I will give our guys the heads up and we will begin planning on our end.

Be safe.

Fred

Fred,
Looks like I have that much more to look forward to when I get back! There is a good dozen of guys in the troop that might be interested in tagging along if that’s okay? I am sure we can come up with a good plan.

Let me see how it goes with what Tony sends out. I can pass them out pretty quick when I fly into other Fobs for fuel but I would like to concentrate a bit on the guys here. I will let you know if I could use some more help. Thanks again.

Hi Naaman,

In the day, you were referred to as a "Short timer"! When you return to the Spgs the Front Rangers will host a herf for you. In the meantime Tony told me he is sending you a box of cigars. Do you need more?

Please stay in touch because we will throw you a hell of a party! :)

Fred

Fred,

Still over here in Kirkuk, at the one year period, with three more months to go. Looking forward to getting home and taking it easy for a while. At least I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Let me know if you if/when you want to use that stuff so I can send pictures as examples.

My address here is:

Naaman Freifeld
A Troop 1-6 CAV
APO AE 09338

Thanks for the support.

I am all over that like bat chit on a discovery channel camera man!

(I don't take credit for that, it was a required saying to participate in an NST wild monkey trade when I first joined CS)

I'm in. If they are all Springs guys, then we should enlist some of those guys and hold it down there. Otherwise, around Denver.

I'm in no matter where we decide to hold it... but I'm with Scott... the less they have to drive the better. I will be moved into Denver somewhere by then so I will be somewhat central...

Sounds like lots of fun.

You need to meet Duane at HM. To pull this back to herf related and stop the jack, are you in town next week anytime? I've got a friend coming into town and I was going to head up there at some point in time (not Tuesday).

Looks like I'll be home Monday night Tuesday mid day at the latest. So I can meet you anytime after that.
