Fontano's has some dandy treats. There is one out here in Lakewood (King Soopers lot at Alameda and Union).

The only one I order is the Combo (Italian Beef and Sausage) with thier own hot peppers. So good I have purchased several of thier jars of peppers as gifts. Very hot with exceptional flavor, soaked in oils is a bonus. This is a 4 or more napkin sammie.... :mrgreen: :oops: :mrgreen: :oops:

I asked the guys at the downtown shop about this, they said its probably gone for good.. someone was looking in to purchasing the franchise but they said it didnt look like it was gonna happen.

OK. I was downtown talking to a recruiter so went into Fontano's after. Got a Big Al loaded with the hot peppers. This is a very good sub and as messy as can be. Love the peppers.
