The guy down here has been out of town, getting back today. I'll post an update as soon as I can get one.

OK, opening down here is officially delayed...maybe end of May type of thing...

So, are we headed back north again this month, or are just going to do the Troops Raffle herf down at Cigars on 6th in the next couple of weeks? OR, we could do BOTH! Just a thought, what are you guys thinking?

May I suggest that we do a Herf at the bunker please. We will need to select the Raffle winners and I would like, no want, as many people present to witness this as possible. We can also do a relaxing Herf up North too!

April (or late March) at Cigars on 6th sounds good to me.

If you're suggesting this weekend, I think we just need to confirm w/ Fred that we think we'll have all of the troop raffle smokes in by then. But I'm game!!!

Please not this weekend!!!

What are the odds of a weeknight (or Friday evening herf?)

Just my selfish thoughts.

It will depend on how many tickets we receive by Friday or Saturday. We could do a mini herf on a Monday or Tuesday evening next week just for the drawing.

OOOH, an April 1st Herf...Cremosa's all around!!! I think I could get in some Iguana smokes from Thomson by then

That would work for me. I can't think of a better way to celebrate April 1 than making someone think they won the grand prize.

So, what are the details for next Tuesday? Are we going to confirm everything tonight? Am I just trying to fill in posts? Uh, I said that out loud, didn't I?

We were talking Havana Manor off of Hwy 36 and McCaslin yesterday. (new place only known to me so far) Nice place, nice peeps and nice humi. Some prices high, some low. It all evens out I guess.

+1 for 4/13. Most weekends in April are ok for me to get away for a few hours. 4/5 is bad and 4/26 evening is bad bot otherwise ok.

Here's what I received from Duane the owner of Havana Manor. How's noon sound? Too early?

Hello Dave,

It would be our pleasure to have you at the shop, especially for any BOTL. Would this be an informal get together or an event? The 13th is a Sunday and we will be open from 11am – 4pm. It looks like I will be traveling that day so I will probably miss you, but I like to meet the group sometime. By the way, we will be having an Oliva V event on April 11th from 3pm – 8pm and a Tatujae event on April 18th from 3pm – 8pm if you have time to stop by. Great time to meet new people and also get great deals on cigars.

Take care,

Duane

Hey since Macms said that the troop drawing will be this date, does anyone have a USB type video camera so we can try and do this live over the web? Just thought it would be fun.

What a great time today!! It was great to see everybody and meet Paul. Gifted cigars all around, so many I almost lost track. Duane, the owner of Havana Manor was a wonderful host. For those that could not make it, if you get a chance make sure to stop in and meet Duane and check out his very nice shop and smoking lounge.

I also had a great time. It's always a lift to see and hang out with such a great group, even when I'm a little under the weather. Thanks so much for the gifts as well.
