Anyone interested in a herf at HM on Oct. 25th for the UFC fights? My brother is a HUGE fan and I thought this might the best way to meet some of the other members here. So let me know if this would be something that could happen :D

That's about how I'm feeling at the moment too. I plan to be there around 5:00 so I can try getting a good seat. Quick question though...are you allowed to smoke your own cigars there, or only ones you've purchased there? I do plan on buying some, but was wondering if I can also bring a couple.

Clinton

Since I work there occasionally I can tell you a bit about it.

It's one of the few places that lets any customer use their lounge without a membership or being a locker holder. You can bring your own and smoke them, they just ask that you buy at least a stick to help pay the rent. They have 2 big screen TV's, wireless internet, an espresso maker and a refrigerator well stocked with soft drinks. There's a donation can in the fridge. You can also BYOB, they have ice and glasses, but you have to pour your own.

Looking forward to meeting a bunch of you.

Most B&M's will give you a little leeway with this, but HMS is by far the most friendly. I expect everone already knows it, but with the group growing it should be said: It's considered very poor form to not support the B&M your herfing at without buying something.

Looking forward to meeting some new folks.

And that's why I love this place!!! It's a heck of a lounge on a normal basis, but I have a feeling that Duane might be needing some folding chairs for this one! Let's make it so. I just received the 'yeah ok with me' generic stereotypical in both tone and word hall pass, so I'll be there (unless the second act of the stand up routine kicks in, then I might punt).

Seriously though, I'd take a sleeping bag and move in to this place if I could.

Thank you again fellas.

The cigars were beyond belief and this was the most generous and thoughtful bomb I've ever received. You guys are the best! Someday, somehow I will hand your ass to you and I won't even kiss you first before doing this. 8)

I tried to explain to Carmen the significance of this. That these cigars were given from caring and unselfish friends who got together to surprise me with this gift of support and to say that they care about me. She gets this, but still doesn't understand my excitement when labeling them and carefully placing them in my vino.

Thanks again guys.
