...I hate Taboo cigars.

I ordered the sampler a while back and I’ve had most of Rob’s lines now, and they are HORRID! Burn and construction are good on them but I have yet to have one with any sort of flavor. It’s like Rocky Patel blended these out of wet news print and paper bags. Yes, I know most of them are made and blended by Oliva, which I’m also not much of a fan of, but I hate Rocky most of all. I feel like I MUST be missing something, after all Rob picked what went in my sampler for me based on other cigars I liked and a lot of folks seem to really like them!

You dirty dirty man lol...

I haven't had too many Taboo yet... but the ones I have had were ok. I do need to try more before I make a decision!

I agree...they are just "ok." You can pretty much subtract a full level of strength and flavor from whatever they describe them as. So, a medium/full would be mild/medium. These would be great cigars to start with and move on from, kind of like Macanudo, but cheaper. I'll be keeping the ones I have for friends that are just beginning the lifestyle.

There's my $0.02.

Have you tried the Special Forces Lancero? It was full to the point of assault! Way too much, in my opinion...I've liked the Honduran Sun Grown's, and the twist were pretty good.

Nope, haven't tried that one yet. I won a sampler and have gone through 8 of the 10. Might have to try the SF Lancero.

The costa rica Maduro is pretty good. I posted a review of it on CS. 8)
