I hope you all enjoyed his smokes as much as I do, and, if you wouldn't mind could you put a review in here of your smoke, or if you already smoked it maybe a quick summation of what you thought? Also, if you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer any or you could email him here:

I purposely didn't smoke it yesterday, but will be happy to post notes as soon as I do. I'm thinking another week.

Ditto.

It was a bit smoky for me at the herf so I only smoked one cigar... But I am still glad I went. Nothing like some good company to spend the weekend with!

No hurries and take your time, please. No one wants to rush a good smoke!

Well I will give it a shot but I have to be honest, I smoked the cigar right after a PSD4 that smoked great.

I smoked a barber poll about robusto size:

Construction was great, draw was perfect and the burn stayed true through the two thirds mark. The cigar started out mild and nutty and stayed mild throughout. Flavor didn't change much through the first two thirds but construction stayed perfect. At the two thirds point things changed for the worst, the burn started to take off to one side and the flavor became acrid at that point I put it down. This is not the first Don Francisco I have had, Ryan gave me another that I really enjoyed so please don't let this one review keep you from trying these well made cigars.

Thank you Ryan for the opportunity to try another Don Francisco.

Think I had the Robusto maduro. The wrapper was oily, with a sizable vein that did not really take away from the overall look and feel. Construction was goot, I think I touched it up once. It held a nice tight light gray ash, but we had been smoking so many that I couldn't properly fish it out of the ashtray to see how well it held together after it fell. I expect I would have been able to pick it up as a single piece with little to no flaking. Draw was excellent, and I barely clipped the cap.

Flavor-wise, I should pay some wonk from CA to make up food words for me. The flavors started strong and peppery, although it was definitely medium-bodied end to end. Flavor was pretty consistent throughout. I usually like a smoke to change things up on me, but I think that these may have that potential if they sit for a time. Dunno if I'd buy a box, but I would certainly pick up a few more sticks to try.

If it had a drawback, it's that it needed more finesse. Strengths: good build, good flavor.

Many thanks to Ryan for a fine smoke.
