Received this PM this morning on CS. I included my response. If he sends a letter to me I'm thinking we might send him a small bomb. Not a big bomb, but a small one to say thanks. Is what he says true? I don't know, but I don't think he's a mooch. So if any of you want to throw in a cigar I'll let you know if he sends the letter.
bigkev77 I just read through the thread. I bought a raffle ticket not really knowing anything about what you guys are doing and now I am floored. The article the reporter wrote about his flight with the the med was heart wrenching.
I am currently out of work and can;t afford any worthy cigars to send these guys but is there anything else I could send. ciggs, smokeless tobacco, candies, shaving supplies?? I would love to do anything to help out. As soon as I have the money to buy cigars they will be for the CRS. It is just an awsome, AWSOME thing you guys are doing. I have some cheap bundle short filler cigars. would that be ok, I hate to send those heros sub-par smokes.
Thanks for what you are doing.
Thank you for kind words. Here is a way you can contribute that won't cost much and is priceless in it's value.
Please consider writing a letter to the troops thanking them for there service. Many, many times I've received feedback saying how much the men enjoy reading authentic letters, especially from strangers that acknowledges there sacrifices.
Always remember a cigar is a cigar, but words last forever. I will make copies of your letter and include it in the CRS CigarCaddy's before shipping.
Heres my address. Be sure to write your nick on the envelope so I know it's you. Thank you again.
