OK, so I already gave a brief intro in the Troop Supporters thread, but here we go again.........
I'm Tim, a Midwestern farm boy who moved to South Denver right out of high school and stayed for a few years. Then I moved back to the Midwest. Why? Good question. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for that one!
Anywho, Fred was kind enough to make me an honorary member of the Front Range Herfers when I inquired. I usually make it out there a couple of times a year, but this year will be the exception. Fourth of July in Manitou Springs is one of my favorite times of year in a pretty cool place. But, I'm going to miss it this year because the wife and I will be visiting my brother in Germany while he is on R&R from Iraq. The other Colorado visit I usually do will be up in the air because of that trip too. Two weeks in Germany with the crappy exchange rate may eat up my December/January skiing money too.
Anyway, I'll make it out there to establish myself as a true Front Range Herfer as soon as possible. I gotta see that bunker in person! Although, it may not be until next 4th of July. :(
In the mean time I'll be here to watch this place grow and to throw off your box split shipping. Just kidding.
Oh yeah, you guys probably have seen me around CS too. Same handle.
Oh, and the important stuff. I do have a real job and a family. I work in engineering for an automotive service equipment manufacturer, Hunter Engineering.
I also have a pretty damned good looking wife (if I can say so myself) and two kids, a boy(12) and a girl(2).
I am also a HUGE Broncos fan. Always have been. Even before I moved out there. I think I cried a lil during my tour of the new Mile High (Invesco).
Thanks for letting me babble.
See ya all around.
Tim
