I like quite a bit of music... my favorite is usually rock and then rap. So a lot of stuff on my ipod is metallica, megadeath, slipknot, etc and then Kanye, 50 cent, etc...

But I have been listening to 95.7 the party a lot lately... a good mix of old and new stuff...

Listening to the new AC/DC CD as I type. http://www.buttercreamdreams.com/smilies/banger.gif

Classic Rock for me but I like small amounts of everything except Rap and twangy Country. Country Rock is good, I love the Eagles and much of Lyle Levitt's stuff.

I'm sure there's a Diddy / Shania Twain mashup out there somewhere.

I've got 250 GB of MP3s that cover about everything. Literally, people walk in my office and tilt there head at what's playing. It could be Metallica followed by Nat King Cole then Greenday, Slim Whitman and the B52s. I love the shuffle feature. The one thing I can't do is that hip hop stuff, 'classic rap' yes, the other no.

I gotta say I wouldn't have pegged that one. What kind of trance Scott?

I like damn near everything. This afternoon I was telling Amber how shoegazers paved the way for eurotrance.

I admit I was being facetious. While working for beatport.com, I gained some respect for electronica, techno and, yes, trance, but they seem more appropriate to the clubs. Shoegazers and dreampop did a lot for the introduction of eurotrance and alternate genres but Germany and specifically Berlin has become the center of trance and techno and had the primary influences of american late 80s techno and punk.

I like Metal, Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country and Pop too. Gregorian chants only on occasion.

I love electronica as well. I also like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, Thievery Corporation, Neil Young, James Taylor, CSN, Slayer, Metallica, Lamb of God, some country, the Offspring, punk (the old stuff, like Lagwagon, Black Flag, No-FX, but also some newer more mainstream stuff like Pennywise)...really I'll listen to just about anything except R&B and most rap. Oh, can't forget about the Wiggles...LOVE the Wiggles.
