Well I finally pulled the trigger on a bottle. Label says it was bottled while listening to Reverend Horton Heat, 94 proof  . I haven't opened it yet, thought it may be good to try at a herf. May have to put together a garage herf to ensure that it gets tasted with good friends sharing good cigars.

I am completely down for a garage herf!!! If you haven't already had it by then, how about on April 19th for UFC fights? I will cover the cost of the fights, if no one else is as interested as me :D

Might be able to do the 19th early, one of my Food Service Managers is a drummer in a local band and is playing that night. Can't remember the name of the place but it's at Quincy and Parker.

That's fine! You don't have to be there for the fights, just point us to the fridge and liquor cabinet!!!

OK, so that might not work...fights start @ 8...but I'm down whenever you're ready!

Okay folks, I don't have a big fancy house or even a big fancy garage but I have a new bottle of Colorado Whiskey that needs to be cracked open and a Stinky that needs filling. I have my Sysco Foods salesman/friend (James) coming by Friday evening to have a black and tan or two and drop off some snack food for the Troops. (There is also a box being dropped off today from a food broker I deal with.) So with that said...

How does 6:00 PM Friday for a Colorado Whiskey tasting garage herf sound?

PM for address

Depending on what time I get back from the mtns I might be able to make it... Hopefully traffic isn't too bad, but I will have to see.

What a good time I had last night meeting Twinarch, turns out we lived in the town in Nevada. He went to the same school my youngest sister and two oldest kids attended. Twinarch brought some great home brewed stout and the Stranahan's lived up to the hype, smooth and Smokey, damn fine Whiskey. There was a wonderful exchange of cigars between Twinarch, Fred and myself in which I ended up with a Opus X from 05', a Don Francisco Bohemio Knot and a cigar I have been trying to find for months, Twinarch pulls out a AF 858 SG and hands it to me.

Now if that weren't enough my buddy James showed up with two boxes of goodies for the Troops. He brought a box of Grandmas cookies 60/2.75oz and a box of Oberto beef jerky 48/.9oz  .

Thanks to Fred, James and Twinarch for the cigars, drink and fine company.

Thanks for hosting it and inviting me! Also, thanks to you for my first Illusione (darn good cigar!) and the Tatuaje! Thanks to Fred for the Cabaiguan as well! I had a great time meeting you both, and hopefully I can meet a few others soon.

I've seen it at Davidson's Liquor down here in Highlands Ranch. The have a sister store up north called DaveCo so they should have it as well.
