For those that don't know the story, here it is. As we often do, the Front Range Herfers decided on an impromptu get together at one of many local B&M, and as is usually the case, we easily get a dozen people to show up. I don't know if he was a Shylock on the side while going to school but our friend Zach (zmancbr) decided to orchestrate a Christmas bomb directed at myself. Zach hands me a box of Monte Sublimes, and people like to keep reminding me of my jaw dropping expression. The bomb was contributed to by numerous local FRH brothers and sisters. Thank you again Zach, and thanks to the FRHers.

While Zach was the mastermind of the Monte Sublime attack, the pictured card was signed by a good number of folks. Nobody would take one when I tried to pass the box around, but I had a list from the card. I threw some little gifts out in return. In an appreciation conversation, I made a wise crack about early Davidoff and Dunhill cigars, an innocent comment that went astray. Apparently Santa was listening, and Santa has some powerful and generous friends. Well, I know and accept the fact that I am terrible at receiving anything. I have to say that what Santa and his unhinged, fuzzy little elf did was way over the top. Honestly, I am blown away by the generosity, and am thoroughly stumped about how, where and when to strike back (remember, I said I suck at receiving).

I can't say thank you enough to Zach, my pals in FRH, and Santa and the enabler Elf, both of whom we all know well. Can anyone say PPP?
