Not bad looking at all... did you think he would take less than $450?

haven't asked him...not cool to make an offer and back out if accepted.

PS the shelves are all at an angle for display purposes.... and not readily adjustable. This can be overcome with some basic woodworking....

Yeah thats true...

The shelves sit on little dowels that are inserted into pre-drilled holes... all you have to do is adjust those dowels and the shelves move great. So you don't even need any woodworking for that...

The good thing about this one vs mine... is this is the "no-drawers" model so you can fit more boxes... :new_rofl:

Someone needs to buy this and save me from myself...

The guy still has it for sale and is firm on his $450 price... these go for $800-1200 so he is giving quite a break already...

Brother, contain yourself. This thing is a cheap POS, really. True, it ain't a Staebel, but this isn't even veneer. Its applique over pine, most likely.

Veneer over pine, but he knows that he has one already.

It may not be made of gold, but it looks good and does the job I need it to. So that is all I can ask. One day I will have a house with a basement and then I get my walk-in humidor, my man cave, and my wine cellar.... until then I don't have many other options... I could build a closet humi here, but it would have to be temporary and I would have to remove it when we move out, since we are using this place as a rental in the future. So I am on the fence between building the closet (which my gf isn't fond of the idea) or buying this (which she also isn't fond of, but cares less)...:new_rofl:

Yes, yes I do... and after I grab this guy, I will have two of these and two Vinos and I hope that is enough for awhile...

I just finished working with a brand new one today.
These Humidors are made in China and very cheap material.
The problem I saw with I today is that it was warped ( sorry if I bad spelling)

No worries Bruce I don't take offense to anything and I have pretty thick skin... You are 100% correct in your assessment of them.... they are a cheaper value humidor, but the one I have works great so I have no issues with them...

Yes they are cheaper... they are all imported via the same company as well. That sucks that one you dealt with was bad... I imagine that happens with everything that is made cheaper... the one I have and the one Ray has are both perfect and have pretty dang good seals so I would still recommend these to anyone in the market. ;)
