So I posed a pic of the new humi today and asked for suggestions for a better looking analogue.

Honest to fucking shit if I get one more reply about how I should keep it out of the light or ignore the analogue and get some digitals I'm deleting my account.
I could care less about all the pointless cat-in-a-tinfoil-hat that goes on there so I say out of it, but why is it people won't even LISTEN to the question being asked by the OP?

Nice looking humi Ray!!!
Looks like you have the Hygro figured out, so going with a nice looking analog for the outside and adding digitals to the inside? As far as CS goes those folks find shit in the background of pictures that I couldn't find if I blew up the pic. It's your humi, put it where you want and remember that opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and they all stink. :P

... I'm deleting my account.
You're deleting your account at CS? That's not good. Open forums will provide all kinds of feedback, little of it useful. Don't let others take you out because you didn't get the responses you wanted. I hope you stick around.

Nice humi! Is it safe for your cigars to be right in the sun like that? I would just plug the analog hole with like a sock or something...definitely rely on digital, those analog things suck! I saw this really cool thing where someone used a cat and some tinfoil...

Wouldn't you need to use a wet sock to fully plug that hole? I guess if you got a tinfoil hat wearing cat stuffed in there too it might work. If you get it pointed the right direction it might even increase the 'barnyard' smell those good cigars put off.
Or, ask your buddies at Edward's to see if they have an accessory catalog or something. Mark at Cigarmony maybe? Only one I have previously seen that big was digital and we all know how you feel about that.
