These 8oz wide-mouthed jars are the best thing I have found for storing tobacco samples, but they are a little hard to come by... Well, tonight we were walking through the kitchen gadget section in Target & I stumbled on a stash of them & the 16oz size. Check your local store, but don't bother with the Glendale one because they don't have any left... :5421:

Peter, how do these compare to some jars I've seen in Hobby Lobby with the rubber gasket around the rim and the wire snap down lid? (think Grolsch bottle)

Dave, in my experience they do the same job. I think their advantage is the wide opening, small size, stackability, & price. The 4pks were $3 and change... For long term storage you could warm them a little before putting in tobacco to create a vacuum, but I have found they seal 100% without doing this.

That's good to know. Hadn't thought of the vacuum storage before either. +1 for you.

Seems they restocked pretty quickly... Good to know there's a steady supply for the time being.
