So, is there a sticky explaining some of the basics?
For instance, Mert is always telling me about the Herf's, are the when's and where's posted?
Whats up with bombing?
Finally, I hear that the Herf's customarily have an exchange. If my sticks dont come from the Island Down South, what other criteria should they fit into?
Sorry to come acrossed as a complete noob......but WTF...I am.

Charles,
Here's the Herf Room (http://www.cfrhn.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35) room of the forum, it has all the when and where's of the CFRH gatherings. Also there is a helpful "herf etiquette (http://www.cfrhn.com/showthread.php?t=443)" sticky at the top of the pile in there. It's very hard to keep up with all of the super generous BOTL in this group, especially for us guys who are just starting to rebuild their reserves after a bit of a lapse, but it is still fun to try :) Obviously it is not necessary or expected that you reciprocate, but if you do it seems the general idea of all of this gifting madness is to give a fellow cigar smoking something you think they would enjoy, either based on your experiences or what you think the other guy would like. I think that is the basic criteria, don't sweat the country of origin if the gift fits into that basic criteria, I'm sure some of the 'OGs' on here can fill in the blanks for me. And to reiterate, it is darn near impossible to keep up with some of these guys in the group, but it is fun to try.
FYI, we've got a gathering coming up on Saturday at Havana Manor in Louisville...should be a great time.

Welcome Charles!! Don't sweat the herfs, just show up and have a good time. That's why we do this. As far as that other thing mentioned that happens at a herf, don't worry about that either.
Now where are we sitting towards the 100?
