Hi all, One of my hobbies is woodworking and I have been making lamps and selling them for a little while now. I'm always tinkering with new designs for them and I made one a while ago that I just could not figure out what to add to it. It hit me this morning,, The base is big enough to hold a cigar ashtray.

Anyway, here is a couple of pics of the lamp I am speaking of. I'm including some of some other lamps I have in order to show the different shade options that you can choose from.

The lamp I am speaking of - 70.00 face to face I really do not want to ship these.

Other shade variations These lamps are 80.00
Also have a deer and a cowboy roping a horse style shades I can get pics of those also but didnt want to suck up all the bandwidth.

Those are really nice lamps! Not sure which I like best. I can't pick one up right now but I will hold the thought for when I have income. If you somehow integrated the ashtray into the base that would be very cool. You could either carve the ashtray directly into the base or select an ashtray that you carve a spot for.

Those are schweeeetttt!!!!!! I wish I could pick one up right now, soon. How about using the fireplace as an ashtray with a little chimney? :)

Thanks for the replies,, I'll have to do some pondering on the ashtray and the smoking chimney idea. The main problem I see it is that it limits the purchase to cigar smokers but I may make something along those lines to see how it works out.
