Gurka Doble Maduro

Picked up a 10 pack of these on the CI daily deal and they arrived yesterday.
My 2nd try with a Gurka- The packaging was pretty cool with the ceder sleeve.

Grabbed a book, and sat on the back patio watching it rain while I fired this up. Just putting flame to it almost made my mouth water. The chocolate mocha aroma was perfect at the time.

It smoked the same, slightly sweet at times, with mellow chocolate and mocha flavors throughout the stick. It was very smooth and felt like it coated the back of my throat and was not harsh making me want to take a drink.

This is pretty densely packed and a nice slow relaxing smoke.

This is one that I didn't want to end, it was really spot on. I'm going to be getting more because I will blow through these pretty quick. My mouth is watering just writing this. laughing.

Mojo65,, Did your taste/preference change or did you move onto different profiles that are more to your liking? I'm curious because even as a new guy to this, I find my self evolving a little after every different stick.

I still like the flavor of that stick, However the Gurka cigars seem to have the thinnest wrappers, and tend to split. As my pallet developed I have a new appreciation for stronger cigars. I smoked a Gurka feurte yesterday, quite similar to the double maddy but a bit more flavor.
