I don't think that Budaj played well at all last season and for the Avs to give him a raise is just unreal:nono:
I also have heard that the Avs are playing hardball with Ian Laperriere which is not a good sign either. And who knows if Sakic is going to play or retire this year.

After losing Laperriere to the Flyers and the trading of Ryan Smyth to the Kings, I think it's going to be a long season for me and the Avs!

Maybe they'll get lucky and sign Gustavsson, but I'm not holding my breath. With Peter's lame stats we don't have much of a chance.
(His goals-against average last season ranked 33rd in the 30-team NHL. His .899 save percentage ranked 41st in the league.)

Since they signed Craig Anderson from Florida, I don't see them wanting to get another goalie. :nhl_checking:
