Gents, I had occasion to speak with a former Marine while having dinner tonight. He did two tours in Iraq over the last 4 years. We talked about living conditions, missions, odd things that happened and finely cigars.

He mentioned spending time in Bagram, and was talking about some guys that built a cigar lounge in a conex.......(I could hardly sit still at this point)

He was saying that his unit was hit hard by a truck bomb / insurgent attack. What was left of there unit spent the night at Bagram. He and several others ended up at the Tiki for a smoke!

I excused myself and went out to the humi in the truck and packed up a 5er.

I explained about the guys from the internet that as a group did what they could to keep the cigars flowing to the troops. As his mouth dropped open I slid the 5finger bag onto his table and thanked him for his service.

Paying it forward ROCKS!

Right on!!! Way to PIF.

BTW, I didn't know there was such a thing as a fomer Marine. I always thought, once a Marine always a Marine.
